MEET ITA LOUIS
Ita is a light like no other, whom I spent gorgeous days with in the islands of the Grenadines. A true hero, incredible mother, sister, daughter and caretaker. She has now passed. Her legacy lives on and the work we did for the kids of Union Island won't be soon forgotten. I wish to keep her memory alive and send money to family to keep the community thriving. The children there are often unable to attend school in full capacity due to lack of funds, lack of school supplies, lack of meals. Truthful history about our aboriginal roots,
Awareness of consciousness,
The fundamentals of understanding nature, art,
Science and math in relation to spirituality,
Self defense, and
Understanding the depth of ability and power we have as humans outside of the patriarchal material-driven world we are all extremely comfortable with,
Are all elements that I believe are missing from public school systems.
I want to incorporate these elements into a learning experience for children on a large scale.

I CAN'T DO IT ALONE
I'm currently open to teaching smaller versions of these categories to individual or groups of children. I also have a jewelry class open for booking, please visit the SHOP page to see what kinds of creations I would be teaching children to make.
I am currently looking for:
People who have the same intentions in creating a better education system for our communities' youth who want to help build this beautiful community of teachers and students alike!
People who already work or volunteer with children that I could lend my time to for more experience.

Im passionate about experiencing community because it creates safety. Understanding those around you shrinks the gap between walks of life, thus shrinking the fear, thus shrinking the violence. I have a plethora of bags! I was given a multitude of bags with the intention of filling them up and handing them out to people in the community in need of supplies. If you or anyone you know works with a company who has extra supplies, please CONTACT ME!
